Sandese Aate Hai 2.0

The iconic song of Border movie is back as Bhushan Kumar has locked the rights with a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore. Sandese Aate Hai 2.0 will be sung by Sonu Nigam and Arijit Singh. The song, as people say, is an emotion. There’s absolutely no doubt that the song was and still is an all time blockbuster song.

The big TWIST in Border 2

Border 2 was about how the Indian Army’s 23rd battalion bravely fought against the Pakistani Army and won the battle of Longewala. With the announcement of Border 2, we all must be expecting a new war or a new battle. We don’t even know if it will be a battle between India and Pakistan or India and China as both are bordering states.

But here’s the twist. A close source to the movie revealed to the Times of India that the movie will not be another story but from that same night. Isn’t this surprising? The source said that “Border 2 is not going to be a sequel, but instead, it is a story that took place the same night as Border’s events.” It sounds wild and we all are in for it.

Border 2 release date

Border 2 will be released on January 23, 2026. The movie is directed by Anurag Singh who also directed Kesari with Akshay Kumar. The movie is written by Nidhi Dutta, daughter of JP Dutta who directed Border 1997. Nidhi and her father JP Dutta are also co-producing the sequel of Border.

In Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, The Ranveer Show, Sunny Deol said he was expected to start working for Border 2 in 2015. However, his movies back then were not performing well and nobody wanted to take the risk to invest in the movie. Gadar 2 happened and changed the game for Sunny Deol forever. He’s back in the race. Sunny Deol’s latest movie Jaat also performed well at the box office.
