Saif Ali Khan Attack Update: The prime suspect accused of stabbing Saif Ali Khan multiple times has been arrested by the Mumbai Police in Thane and is now under police custody.
In the early hours of January 16, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder who had allegedly come to rob the house. Failing in his attempt when everyone including Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor got up, the intruder stabbed Saif, attacked a house staff and fled the scene.
After days of search, the accused identified as Mohammad Shehzad was hunted in Thane where he was hiding in a labor camp. Scroll down to know what exactly happened inside Saif and Kareena’s Bandra home.
Saif Ali Khan’s Attacker Spotted
Eliyama Philip, the nanny of Saif and Kareena’s youngest son, was the first one to spot the intruder. In her statement to the police, she said that she got up from a strange notice who she thought to be Kareen. However, she noticed that the shadow of the person was different, it was of a man wearing a cap near the bathroom door.

However, as soon as she sensed something was amiss, she quickly got up and moved closer to Jeh to shield him. When the accused noticed her, he threatened her to keep quiet by putting a finger on his lips, “Koi awaaz nahi.”
“At that time, when I went to pick up Jay baba, he ran towards me, holding something like wood in his left hand and a long thin blade in his right hand,” she revealed, adding, “He tried to stab me with the blade in his hand. When I tried to avoid the blow by putting my hand forward, I got a wound from the blade.”
Meanwhile, another caretaker Junu ran towards Saif and Kareena’s room to alert them.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor rushed to Jeh’s room where the intruder was still in an altercation with the nanny. “Saif sir and Kareena madam ran into the room. Seeing that man, Saif Sir asked him, “Kon hai, what do you want?”
When the intruder saw Saif, he attacked him with the hexa blade in his hand. Saif was stabbed six times behind his neck near the shoulder. Fortunately he managed to get rid of the attacker on time and “we all ran out of the room and pulled the door of the room,” said the nanny.
“Then we all rushed to the upstairs room. Hearing our voices, all sleeping in the staff room came out. When we went back to the room, the door of the room was open. We searched for the man in the house, but couldn’t find him,” she said.
“Sir received injuries on the back of the neck, near the right shoulder, on the left side of the back and near the wrist and elbow of the left hand,” she informed. She further revealed that the intruder demanded a whopping amount of one crore.
