Allu Arjun Arrest: Allu Arjun was released on an interim bail on Friday evening. However, the actor spent a night in jail and returned home on Saturday morning. This is where the tide of the internet began to turn against Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun who was seen laughing and celebrating outside his home after release.
Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with the death of a 35 year old woman in Sandhya theatres during a stampede. The woman’s 9 year old son suffered injuries and is now under treatment. The family of the deceased filed a case against Allu Arjun who was arrested on Friday from his residence in Hyderabad.
Post Allu Arjun’s Arrest Reaction
Soon after Allu Arjun’s arrest, the internet, politicians and actors from Tollywood and Bollywood came in support of Allu Arjun. Some politicians like Ravi Kishan called it a Black day in the history of Indian cinema. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna also came in support of him.
Pushpa 2 witnessed a boost after Allu Arjun’s arrest. Pushpa 2 continues to break records. However, people over the internet are of the view that it is no more than ‘a huge PR exercise’ with the paparazzis outside Allu Arjun’s home recording every moment.

Another reddit user wrote, “Everyone is milking it for their own goals. It’s a huge PR exercise for everyone involved. They literally have a spot for paparazzi at Allu Arjun’s house, asking them to film everything and everyone visiting because poor little Arjun and the telugu film industry are innocent victims. In the meantime forgot about the common man and the common family who are the real victims,” bringing back the attention to the family of the dead woman and her injured son.
“Instead of this tamasha he could introspected overnight in the prison, should have gone to the home of the deceased and expressed his sincere condolences elevating him as a better human imo. But again he is in the “show business” said another user.
“Sab camera ke samne karna hai road pe” and “Returning from Kargil war vibes.” comments like these are filled all over reddit with users being upset with Allu Arjun for making this issue a ‘publicity stunt.’
