Govinda-Sunita Ahuja Divorce: Bollywood veteran Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, are making headlines amid rumors of their separation after 37 years of marriage. Reports suggest the couple has been living separately for some time, though neither has officially confirmed a divorce.

According to Zoom TV, Sunita has been residing in a separate apartment with their children, while Govinda stays in a bungalow on the same street. In an earlier interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita had jokingly remarked about Govinda’s lack of romance, saying, “I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holidays. I want to go out with my husband and eat pani-puri on the streets, but he has always been busy with work.”
She also made a remark about his age, stating, “Sath ke baad aadmi sathiyaa jaata hai. Pataa nahi kya karde” (After 60, men start acting differently. Who knows what they might do?).
However, Sunita later dismissed any separation rumors, asserting, “Kisi ki majaal hai joh mujhe Govinda se alag karke dikhaaye. Nobody can separate us. There are more people who want to break homes than outsiders. I won’t let anyone break homes.”

Govinda has also responded to the rumors, telling ETimes, “These are only business talks going on… I am in the process of starting my films.” His manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged there had been some family tensions but denied any major marital crisis, saying, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by some family members. But there is nothing more to it. Govinda is focused on starting a film, and we are working on resolving the matter.”
A source close to the family revealed that Sunita had sent a separation notice a few months ago but had not taken further action. There have also been unverified rumors that Govinda’s alleged closeness to a 30-year-old Marathi co-star contributed to the tension.
