Sunita revealed that she was only 15 years old when she first met Govinda who was pursuing his graduation. Sunita’s sister was married to Govinda’s relative and that’s how they started seeing each other. Sunita also said that she didn’t like Govinda when she first saw him. Sunita and Govinda were together in a relationship for 3 years and got married at a very young age. Their marriage was kept a secret for Govinda’s stardom.
