Winter Skin Care Routine: If you have dry skin, following the right skincare routine is a must to avoid dry skin problems in winter like cracked skin. Even if you have normal skin, it is still crucial to maintain that normalcy and give your skin the best winter care possible.
However, for a lazy person like myself, following a skincare routine daily is a big task. I would literally motivate myself to get out of bed and apply the 10 layers of skincare on my face. Eventually it didn’t last long. I needed to find a solution for the lazy girl skin care routine and now I have one.
P.S. I still hate washing my face with cold water on winter mornings.
3 Step Winter Skin Care Routine
Following this simple skincare routine in winters saves me a lot of time and effort. It is also the most affordable skincare routine that fits my budget. Here is the best 3-step winter skin care routine for lazy girls.
1. Choose The Right Cleanser
I am very picky when it comes to buying beauty products. I always do my research while 10 products wait in my cart on amazon. I make sure my cleanser has mild exfoliants, vitamin C and has foamy consistency.
Look for a hydrating face cleanser in winter with the right ingredients. Now wash your face every morning and every night. Yes, even if you are laziest, you have to cleanse your face twice a day to unclog pores to get rid of blackheads and dirt.
2. Moisturize With Serum Or Oil
Moisturizer is a must do step to have in your simple winter skin care routine. Moisturizing the skin in winters is like spreading butter on toast, it’s the key step to a smooth and nourished winter skincare routine for lazy girls. Moisturizer adds a layer of love and nourishes the skin deeply for 3-4 hours. Moisturize your skin with vitamin C serum or essential oil if you have dry skin.
3. Sunscreen For Winters
You need to apply sunscreen in winters. Most people forget that the sun’s UV rays can still reach them. Before you step out of home, put on a hydrating winter sunscreen that doesn’t leave white patches after a while.

Take my example, my skin type is normal and I am low on iron and vitamins. For me, it’s not always skincare products but also vitamins and supplements for skin health. To get started with a skincare routine in winters, you need to analyze your overall health as well.
If you are not getting enough vitamin A, vitamin D and niacin, you might face skin dryness. In that case it’s important to get a doctor’s appointment and get yourself the right supplements for dry skin.
