Revealed: Tripti Dimri Removed From Aashiqui 3 because of her bold image in the movie Animal where she played Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend Zoya Riaz.
Earlier reports suggested that Tripti Dimri exited from Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3 as they couldn’t land on the same page. However, according to some reports, the real reason why Tripti was removed from the film opposite Kartik Aaryan is because she lacks ‘innocence.’

Tripti Dimri was chosen as the heroine of Aashiqui 3 with Kartik Aaryan, a role she was excited to do. “Triptii Dimri was very excited about this film, however, now this is not going to happen. A new face can be seen in the film with Kartik Aaryan,” said a source to the Filmfare.
However, a new angle is coming up according to which Tripti Dimri lacks the innocence required for the female lead of Aashiqui 3. Her previous films have built a bold image of Tripti due to which the audience might take her differently now.

Why Tripti Dimri Removed From Aashiqui 3
According to the sources of Peepingmoon, Tripti Dimri was removed from Aashiqui 3 because the makers thought that she lacked ‘innocence.’ “One of the key qualities sought for Aashiqui 3 was innocence and purity. Tripti Dimri’s recent films have created a different image, which does not match with the romantic and pure mood of the film,” said the source.
“The actresses in the previous parts of Aashiqui had a certain kind of innocence and simplicity – be it Anu Kapoor or Shraddha Kapoor. Tripti’s recent films do not reflect that kind of image, and hence she was not considered suitable for the lead role of the film.”
Sharvari In Aashiqui 3
According to reports, Sharvari Wagh will be replacing Tripti Dimri in Aashiqui 3 opposite Kartik Aaryan. Sharvari has given successful films like Maharaj, Vedaa and Munjya. Sharvari will also be seen in Alpha with Alia Bhatt.
