Lead Actress Of Aashiqui 3: Looks like the makers of Aashiqui 3 have found their heroine after dumping Tripti Dimri. Earlier reports confirmed that Tripti Dimri had been removed from Aashiqui 3 and the makers were in search of her replacement.
According to the Filmfare, Munya actress Sharvari will be the lead actress of Aashiqui 3, replacing Tripti Dimri. Sharvari Wagh, who was last praised for her performance in Maharaj opposite Junaid Khan will star opposite Kartik Aaryan for the first time.

A close source to the team of Aashiqui 3 revealed to the filmfare that Sharvari Wagh will be the new female lead of Aashiqui 3 with Kartik Aaryan. Sharvari Wagh movies include Munjya, Maharaj, Vedaa. (all of them were successful)
Sharvari Wagh, 28, started her film career as an assistant producer with Luv Ranjan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Her maternal grandfather, Late Manohar Joshi, was the ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Sharvari Wagh’s upcoming movies include Alpha and Tu meri main tera main tera tu meri.

Tripti Dimri Out Of Aashiqui 3
According to the source of Filmfare Tripti Dimri exited Aashiqui 3 despite being excited about working in the film. “Triptii Dimri was very excited about this film, however, now this is not going to happen. A new face can be seen in the film with Kartik Aaryan.”
Tripti Dimri was chosen as the lead actress of Aashiqui 3 long ago, when she became a known face post Animal movie success. However, according to the sources of Peepingmoon official, Tripti Dimri was removed from Aashiqui 3 because the makers thought that she lacked ‘innocence.’ “One of the key qualities sought for Aashiqui 3 was innocence and purity. Tripti Dimri’s recent films have created a different image, which does not match with the romantic and pure mood of the film,” said the source.
“The actresses in the previous parts of Aashiqui had a certain kind of innocence and simplicity – be it Anu Kapoor or Shraddha Kapoor. Tripti’s recent films do not reflect that kind of image, and hence she was not considered suitable for the lead role of the film.”
This hints that Tripti Dimri’s role in Animal movie came in the way of her dream role as the actress was looking forward to Aashiqui 3.
