Salman Khan Mahesh Bhatt

Salim Khan was allegedly struggling financially after his split up with Javed Akhtar. He needed work and then came the super hit film by Mahesh Bhatt, Naam. Salim Khan wrote the screenplay for Naam but Mahesh Bhatt refused him some payment ‘which deeply scarred Salim Khan.’
This being the reason for Salman Khan’s grudge against Mahesh Bhatt and he refused to work with him after his big debut in Maine Pyaar Kiya. “After MPK, Mahesh Bhatt tried utilizing Salman’s newfound fame. Salman refused, even refusing a planned film opposite Vinod Khanna, as it had Mahesh as a director,” says reddit.

However, the duo parted ways after Javed Akhtar one day came to Salim and told him that he wants to write his own films. Salim Khan once in an interview to NDTV opened up on their split up. He said, “ab unhone mujhse kaha ki mei alag (films) banana chahta huun, maine kaha thik hai, koi dikkat nahi. Kisiko zabardasti rok nahi sakte. Mujhe toh abhi bhi nahi malum kyun alag hue.
