Allu Arjun Press Meet: In a response to CM Revanth Reddy’s allegations, Allu Arjun held a press conference outside his house highlighting his side of the story. Earlier in Telangana Legislative Assembly, Revanth Reddy called Allu Arjun an ‘inhumane’ person.
Allu Arjun Press Meet Highlights
Allu Arjun called the whole thing going around his ‘inhumane behaviour’ a “character assassination.”
“I earned this respect as an actor over 22 years in the film industry and my character is being assassinated overnight,” he said.
Allu Arjun called the Sandhya stampede and the death of 35 year old woman, Revathi ‘an unfortunate accident’ and said that ‘it’s nobody’s fault.”
“It is a very unfortunate incident. It has never happened in my 20 years of cine career. I am not blaming anyone, either the police or government, for this incident. This is a very unfortunate incident, which should not have happened.”
Allu Arjun’s Reply To Revanth Reddy

Allu Arjun also refuted Revanth Reddy’s claim that he was denied police permission for visiting Sandhya theatre. “I have been told that the police gave permission to visit the theatre, and they themselves were guiding my vehicle towards the theatre. On the instance of the police and security personnel that I should come out and wave so they can clear the crowds, I came out of my vehicle and waved to the fans.”
“As soon as I came to know about the problem outside the theatre, I left. Only the next morning did I come to know that a woman had died and her son was critically injured. I did not know about this that night.”
“Do you think if the police told me that a woman had died and a child was in the hospital, I would have been so inhumane not to go away from the theatre if the police told me that my presence had caused the mishap?”
“As my request to visit the child was denied, I sent my father. We have promised that we will take care of the family,” he said.

Revanth Reddy’s Scathing Attack On Allu Arjun
Revanth Reddy in a talk show on India Today, spoke about Allu Arjun’s arrest. He defended Allu Arjun’s arrest and called him a businessman who makes money by films. “He’s a film star, a businessman. He made a film, he made money. He has not won a war at the India-Pakistan border,” said CM Revanth Reddy.
He also revealed that he has known Allu Arjun since he was a school boy and Allu Arjun’s father in-law himself a Congress leader. However nothing of that matters before law.
“You are asking about allu arjun’s arrest but not about the woman who died in the stampede. She is dead now and she was allu arjun’s fan. Her son is still in the hospital battling for his life.”
“Some people are criticizing the government and me over the arrest of the film star in connection with the stampede. But, is there a special law in our Constitution for film and political stars that exempts them from prosecution, or allows them to avoid being booked for a crime – even if they are responsible for someone’s death?” said the CM on the ongoing protest against Allu Arjun’s arrest.
