Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan who was last seen in Maharaj on Netflix is now making his big screen debut with Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor.

Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor’s Movie
Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa is a modern day romantic drama. Loveyapa attempts to resonate with the Gen zs and the growing use of technology. Loveyapa is a remake of the 2022 Tamil film Love Today which gained critical acclaim and was a commercial hit.
Love Today, directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, has gotten 8 out of 10 on IMDb. Pradeep Ranganathan debuted as an actor in Love Today. He is only 31 years old. The film is about a couple (deeply in love with each other) swapping their mobile phones for 24 hours.
Loveyapa is directed by Advait Chandan who also directed Amir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Secret Superstar. Loveyapa will be released on Valentine’s week on February 7th, 2025.
Aamir Khan Reaction On Loveyapa
While praising his son’s acting skills, Aamir Khan called Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa an entertaining movie. He also praised Khushi Kapoor and compared her with her late mother Sridevi. Aamir Khan said that Khushi Kapoor’s performance in Loveyapa reminds him of Sridevi.
