Priyanka Chopra sent Ibrahim a gift and a little nugget of wisdom after watching his debut film Nadaaniyan. Ibrahim Ali Khan is the son of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. He is the grandson of legendary actress Sharmila Tagore. The bar is high when you belong to a family full of actors and the disappointment hits hard when you fail to keep the level up.
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film Nadaaniyan failed to impress the audience. It was a disaster, to be frank. It also starred Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Even Ibrahim’s grandmother Sharmila Tagore was not happy with his film. “The film was not good, even though Ibrahim looked great,” she said.
Priyanka Chopra’s advice to Ibrahim Ali Khan
In a recent magazine photoshoot interview, Ibrahim Ali Khan opened up on his personal life and career. He revealed that Priyanka Chopra advised him after watching Nadaaniyan. Ibrahim revealed that Priyanka watched his film and said that she thinks ‘he has a bright future.’
However, she also advised him to grow a thick skin. She must be referring to the millions of opinions shot in the direction of an actor everyday, be it online trolling or critics. “She said I have to hold my head high and keep grinding. And that I must grow a thick skin.”
Ibrahim Ali Khan Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’ debut movie Nadaaniyan was a complete disaster. The movie received 2.9 ratings on imdb. Nadaaniyan was produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shauna Gautam under the banner of Dharma Productions.
It was not just a bad direction, but a bad screenplay along with really bad acting. Some people even speculated that Ibrahim’s voice was actually an AI modulation. However, reports suggest that his voice was dubbed due to his noticeable lisp.
Priyanka Chopra’s sweet advice is worth noting for Ibrahim for his upcoming films.
