Lily-Rose Depp Is Doing Everything She Can To ‘Protect A Sense Of Anonymity’

Hollywood actress Lily Rose Depp opened up about her glamorous life and how she’s determined to safeguard her anonymity. She doesn’t want fame.

Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of Hollywood icon Johnny Depp and French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis, has carved her own path in the entertainment world as an actress and fashion icon.

Despite her rising stardom she remains fiercely protective of her personal space and privacy. The English and French actress who also featured opposite Louis Garrel in A faithful man recently opened up about her relentless efforts to keep her life private as much as she can.

“Every job comes with a set of circumstances and this [fame] is kind of one of them,” she said in an interview to The Daily Telegraph. “The importance to me has been to maintain a sense of, like, privacy and grounded-ness and to protect [what] really belongs to you.”

Lily Rose Depp made her film debut with Kevin Smith’s Tusk in 2014. Later on she appeared in a number of movies and shows including Voyagers, Wolf, The Idol and French movie A faithful man. Lily Rose Depp is also a fashion model. 

She also explained, “People are interested in things that they shouldn’t necessarily be interested in and…the job of an actor is to go into a character and, like, melt into it — and make the audience believe you are this character.”

“In order to do that, it’s important to protect a sense of anonymity they’re not supposed to get to know you that well, cause you want them to believe you as other characters,” said the 25 year old Hollywood actress.
